about artist

My name is Darina, and I live and work in France, in a countryside home near Compiègne. I was born and raised in a large metropolitan city, surrounded by a fast-paced and ever-moving environment.

Today, I have found a different kind of balance — a quieter life, closer to nature, where time flows differently. This shift deeply influences the way I create and observe the world around me.

My professional background is rooted in architecture and visual design. For several years, I worked as a 3D artist, collaborating with architects and creative teams on boutiques, window displays, and scenographic projects for luxury houses such as Chanel, Cartier, and Graff.

These experiences refined my sensitivity to proportions, light, materials, and detail — a sensibility that is now reflected in my artistic work.

Drawing has always been part of my life, like a quiet and continuous thread running through its different stages.

Over time, and especially with the arrival of family life, my rhythm has naturally evolved. Artistic creation now gives me an essential freedom in how I organize my time and my work. Today, I create original oil pastel artworks, inspired by nature, animals, landscapes, and the equestrian world.

Drawing is my form of free expression — a moment of presence and pleasure, where observation and emotion come together.
